FindUTickets.com is proud to present this exclusive tournament in the Algarve this year. For those of you that have visited Portugal before, you will know it is a golfer's paradise. In saying so, the Parque da Floresta is considered by many to be one of the top golfing venues in the Algarve, with fantastic facilities, including a driving range, putting green, gym, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, bars and restaurants, health centre, spa, jacuzzi and of course, a top golf course, hidden away in the Western Algarve. In recent years there has been a considerable investment made on the course, including the addition of a Golf Academy and the redesign of several holes. From the opening par 4 that curves gracefully towards the early morning sun, to the majestic par 4 eighteenth set in a natural amphitheatre below the Clubhouse terrace, this course has already become famous for having some classic golf holes. The course is also home to the David Seaman, Safe Hands Charity Golf Challenge each year.
This year's event is a follow on from a recent football event that was held in the Algarve this summer, The Algarve Challenge Cup. For those of you that visited to watch Celtic, Middlesbrough, Cardiff and V.Guimaraes battle in out on the football pitch, this is a chance to meet the people involved and enjoy a fantastic short break in magnificent surroundings.

As expected with all FindUTickets packages, this package is complete luxury. A collection service from Faro Airport or if you prefer, discounted car hire can be arranged either from the AIRPORT or a car can be dropped off at your accommodation for your arrival at Parque da Floresta. On arrival you will be treated to a VIP check in service and transported to your superior townhouse accommodation. The full use of all the facilities, including gym, sauna, jacuzzi, pool and bars are included in the package, discount vouchers for the health club and treatments will be in your gift pack and given to you on arrival.
On arrival day a complimentary 9 hole practice round can be arranged as part of the package, or even free use of chipping and practice areas including the driving range. The resident Pro will be on hand to lend some helpful advise too. On the Thursday 27th November, welcome drinks and food will be available from 19.30 through to 21.30. This is a good time to meet the rest of the party and also to collect your Golf Tee times for the days ahead. We will also be holding a charity raffle and auction on this night.

Scott Young
275 appearances for Cardiff City with 22 goals. Welsh International and scorer of one of Cardiff's most historical goals after hitting the winner against Leeds United who were top of the Premier League at the time. Scott made his debut at the age of 16 and had 11 successful seasons with the club unfortunately his career was brought to an end with a persistent back injury.
Carl Dale
Carl started his career at Arsenal before dropping into the Welsh League. Carl was spotted by Chester City where he scored 41 goals in 116 appearances. Dale a city legend went on to make 211 appearances and bagging 71 goals in the process. His performances warranted a Welsh Cap with many calls from the media. His excellent goal scoring record made him a cult hero amongst Cardiff fans.
Roger Gibbins
Roger started his career at Spurs before moving to several clubs then arriving at Ninian Park in 1982 and made an immediate impact helping City gain promotion. Roger made 281 appearances for the Bluebirds scoring 24 goals. After his playing career, Gibbins had a successful return as assistant manager to Eddie May when the Bluebird completed a double, winning the old fourth division and Welsh Cup. Roger will always be known as a fully committed player who had the intelligence to win games from his passing and movement.
Jackie Mc Namara
350 games for Hibernian, Captain 80-83, 50 games for Celtic, Managed Morton, Assistant Manager Hibernian, Played for Scottish League select, Now works for the PFA on 'show racism the red card' campaign.
Willie Garner
200 Games for Aberdeen, Premier League, Scottish Cup and League Cup winner, 10 games for Celtic, Player/Manager at Alloa FC. Was youngest manager in Britain at 27 (younger than Cloughie), Assistant Manager Aberdeen - working with Sir Alex Ferguson for 3 seasons and winning European Super Cup, Premier League twice, Scottish Cup twice and League cup.
Joe Harper
Clubs include, Huddlesfield, Aberdeen, Everton, Hibs and Scotland. Aberdeens all time record goal scorer with 205 goals in just 8 seasons. Bronze boot in Europe 1972 with 33 league goals and 55 goals in all competitions that season. Top scorer with every club he has played at. Netted his first senior goal when he was just 16 years old. Played 4 times for Scotland and scored 2 international goals. Played in the 1978 World Cup
John Hewitt
Known primarily for his time with Aberdeen F.C. between 1979 and 1989. He moved on briefly to Celtic F.C. and later St. Mirren F.C. On loan to Middlesbrough: 1990-1992 Free transfer from Celtic to St. Mirren on 7/1/1992 At St Mirren he scored he got 14 goals in 89 games at the Paisley side. Joined Dundalk as player Manager 1996. John Hewitt is seen as one of the greatest players in Aberdeen's History in terms of success. In total he won 4 Scottish Cups, 3 League Championships, 1 Scottish League Cup, 1 UEFA Cup Winners Cup, and 1 UEFA Super Cup.
David Bassett
As a player Bassett was a defensive midfielder, playing for Wimbledon and a member of the Wimbledon team who forced the famous draw in the 4th round of the FA Cup against reigning League Champions Leeds United in 1975. He retired from playing soon after Wimbledon entered the Football League in 1977 and became a coach with the club. Bassett was promoted to first team manager following the departure of Dario Gradi in 1981, and guided their rise up through the Football League during the 1980s. Dave managed and assisted at other teams including Watford, Sheffield United , Crystal Palace , Leicester and Southampton and most recently Leeds United.

After Day 1 of the competition, please check score board in the Spike Bar to see your allocated tee-off times for Day Two and scores from Day 1.
Nothing has been included for the Friday evening, so you are free to have time to yourself. However, we will be organising a meal at The Taberna bar and restaurant, which is with in walking distance of your accommodation.
